1. How can I connect my Blackberry® Q10/Z30/Z10 to my TV?

The easiest way to connect your device is to use a Standard Type D to A CouchConnect™ available at: https://couch-connect.myshopify.com/.

1. Plug the smaller (Type D) end of CouchConnect™ into your phone.
2. Plug the larger end (Type A) of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI port on your TV

2. How do I connect my Samsung Galaxy S4 or Note 3/10.1 (2014) to my TV?

The easiest way to connect your device is to use a Standard Type A to A CouchConnect™ available at: https://couch-connect.myshopify.com/. For your device, you’ll also need a 11-pin MHL 2.0 to HDMI adapter to convert from the micro USB port on your device to HDMI such as the Kanex Model S3HDTV available from www.amazon.com*.

1. Plug the 11-pin end into your phone.
2. Plug the smaller end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI end of the adapter.
3. Plug the larger end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI port on your TV.

Note - If you already own a 5-pin MHL 1.0 to HDMI adapter, then all you need is a 11-pin to 5-pin adapter “tip” such as the Samsung 5-pin to 11-pin HDTV Smart Adapter (Model: EPL-FU10BEGSTA) available from www.amazon.com*.

1. Plug the 11-pin end of the pin adapter “tip” into your device.
2. Plug the 5-pin end into your existing 5-pin MHL to HDMI adapter.
3. Plug the power charging cable that came with your device into the MHL adapter.
4. Plug the smaller end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI end of the adapter.
5. Plug the larger end of your CouchConnect™ into the HDMI port on your TV.

3. How do I connect my Samsung Galaxy S3 or Note 2 to my TV?

The easiest way to connect your device is to use a Standard Type A to A CouchConnect™ available at: https://couch-connect.myshopify.com/. For your device, you’ll also need a 11-pin MHL to HDMI adapter to convert from the micro USB port on your device to HDMI such as the Samsung HDMI Smart Adapter (Model: EIA2UHUNBEGSTA) available from www.tigerdirect.ca*. You will also need a 11-pin to 5-pin adapter “tip” such as the Samsung 5-pin to 11-pin HDTV Smart Adapter (Model: EPL-FU10BEGSTA) available from www.amazon.com*.
1. Plug the 11-pin end of the pin adapter “tip” into your device.
2. Plug the 5-pin end of the pin adapter “tip” into the 5-pin end of the HDTV adapter.
3. Plug the power charging cable that came with your device into the MHL adapter.
4. Plug the smaller end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI end of the HDTV adapter.

4. How do I connect my Samsung Galaxy S2 / Note 1 to my TV?

The easiest way to connect your Samsung Galaxy S2 or Note 1 is to use a Standard Type A to A CouchConnect™ available at: https://couch-connect.myshopify.com/.

For your device, you’ll also need a 5-pin MHL 1.0 to HDMI adapter to convert from the micro USB port on your phone to HDMI such as the RocketFish™ - MHL HDTV Adapter (Model: RF-G1171) available at www.bestbuy.com*.

1. Plug the micro USB end into your phone.
2. Plug the power charging cable that came with your device into the MHL adapter.
3. Plug the smaller end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI end of the adapter.
4. Plug the larger end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI port on your TV.

5. How do I connect my Apple iPad Air/Mini/4th Gen or iPhone 5/5S/5C to my TV?

The easiest way to connect your iPad or iPhone is to use a Standard Type A to A CouchConnect™ available at: https://couch-connect.myshopify.com/

You’ll also need an adapter to convert from the Lightning port on your iPad to HDMI such as the Lightning to Digital AV adapter (Model Number: MD826ZM/A) available from http://store.apple.com*.

1. Plug the Lightning end into your iPad.
2. Plug the smaller end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI end of the adapter.
3. Plug the larger end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI port on your TV.

6. How do I connect my Apple iPad 3rd Gen / iPad 2 or iPhone 4S (or older) to my TV?

The easiest way to connect your Apple iPad or iPhone is to use a Standard Type A to A CouchConnect™ available at: https://couch-connect.myshopify.com/.

You’ll also need an adapter to convert from the 30-pin port on your iPad to HDMI such as the Apple 30-pin Digital AV adapter (Model Number: MD098ZM/A) available at http://store.apple.com*.

1. Plug the 30-pin end of the adapter into your iPad.
2. Plug the smaller end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI end of the adapter.
3. Plug the larger end of CouchConnect™ into the HDMI port on your TV. 7.

7. How do I connect my Nexus 4/5/6/7 to my TV?

Unfortunately at this time, these phones do not support HDMI which is required for CouchConnect™ .

8. Are all phones and tablets compatible with CouchConnect™?
